How do I clean my Grain and Plank flight board?
Party foul? Don't fret. Quickly dry off any spilled libations with a paper towel and let air dry. If your flight board needs more care [and it may after lots of use], you can lightly sand with 800 grit sandpaper and then apply wood oil. Check out what wood care products we recommend below.

How do I clean my Grain and Plank cutting board or serving board?
Just carve up a juicy brisket? Or serve up a killer charcuterie spread? To safely clean your board, use lukewarm water and mild dish soap. Never leave your board soaking in water. Let air dry after cleaning and reapply food-safe oil + wax as needed.
-
Are Grain and Plank flight boards or other board products dishwasher safe?
It may seem like a good idea, but with the high temperatures and water exposure, your glued up board will look more like wood scraps when your dishwasher cycle finishes up. Your fancy glass tasting glasses, however, are dishwasher safe — so load 'em up.

How do you get the wood to be all those different colors?
Nature! At Grain and Plank we do not use any stains or wood dyes. The color or grain pattern you see — like in Purpleheart or Padauk wood — is the natural state of the exotic wood species.
